State employees’ health costs to increase Jan. 1
JACKSON – Health insurance costs will go up Jan. 1 for some Mississippi government employees. A board decided Wednesday that employees will pay 15 percent more for dependents’ coverage. Premiums for Medicare-eligible retirees also will increase 15 percent.

Judge: NJ public employees to pay for health insurance
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey judge ruled Thursday that a new law requiring public employees to pay at least 1.5 percent of their salaries toward health insurance can go into effect Friday, as scheduled.
