			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While healthy and permanent weight loss remains an elusive goal for many Americans, it is actually possible to reach your ideal weight by making long-term changes to your lifestyle.  Even outside of natural weight loss supplements and herbs, there are many natural ways to improve your metabolism and steadily lose weight.  In a world of fast food, little exercise, and time crunches, it is important to look at a weight loss plan as a lifestyle adjustment rather than a diet.  Yo-yo diet patterns rarely deliver the results you desire, whether those results include short-term weight loss or improved long-term health.  In order to establish a new way of life that will deliver weight-loss results, you must understand and accommodate your body’s individual needs.</p>
<p>One key to achieving long-term natural weight loss is, of course, modifying and monitoring food intake.  Diets that severely restrict calories to lower than 1200 per day can lead to vitamin deficiency and slowed metabolism, and generally set dieters up to regain weight later.  In addition, diets that totally prohibit favorite foods often result in feelings of deprivation and eventual binge eating.  Instead, it is wise to set aside sweet and fatty comfort foods as rewards, or for special occasions.  In the meantime, a limiting of fat calories, alcohol intake, sodas and sugar will allow for gradual and permanent loss of body fat.  To achieve a healthy ideal weight loss of one to two pounds per week, one need only consume 300 to 400 fewer calories per day.  </p>
<p>The other necessity for healthy weight loss is exercise, or a gradual increase in physical activity level.  A mere thirty minutes of exercise, if accomplished every day, can prove to be beneficial in regards to health as well as natural weight loss.  Suddenly diving into long bouts of high-intensity exercise is not recommended and can leave an individual “burnt-out” and in pain.  Instead, slowly increase your level of physical exertion by involving yourself in activities that you enjoy, like walking, swimming, or dancing.</p>

You already know what smoking can do to your health. If you’re reading this, it’s your first step to acknowledging the need to quit this habit. Learning how to quit smoking can be a frustrating and long &#8212; but the rewards later is more fulfilling.  </p>
<p>Chronic smokers have several reasons why they smoke. Relaxation, boredom, social pressure and curiosity are just some that you may have. However, smoking can also contribute to life-threatening illnesses like cancer and lung problems. With this in mind, there is no easy way on how to quit smoking. You need motivation, determination, commitment and a good social support to get past this.  </p>
<p>One way to learn how to quit smoking is by altering these negative behaviors to positive ones. If you’re bored and would like to smoke, you can try exercising or meditating instead. You can try various hobbies to get your mind elsewhere aside from smoking. Arts, crafts and other strong means to retract your attention away from smoking should be good.  </p>

<p>Most diet fads fail because of the food restrictions imposed. If you do succeed, you’ll be tempted to go back to your previous eating habits &#8212; and even more! Eating while still maintaining a healthy living got better results than those with food deprivation.  </p>
<p>Healthy living starts with picking the right food. Instead of pilling chips, ice cream and chocolates in your fridge, why not opt for healthier snacks to nibble on? Slowly replace these junk foods with fruits and vegetables. Changing certain habits will take a while so make sure it’s something you can live with permanently. </p>
<p>Another way to maintain a healthy living is through regular exercise. The demand of the modern world is very stressful indeed. After work, you feel tired, eat fast food and sleep after. This is not the way to keep your body healthy. If you manage your time efficiently, you can cook homemade meals earlier and reheat it when you get home. Want quick meals? Why not try eating oatmeal with bits of fruits in them.  </p>
<p>Your sleeping habits are important to maintaining a healthy living. Sleeping for four hours a day can revitalize your brain. However, sleeping for eight hours a day can revitalize your brain AND your body. So, try sleeping as early as you can. Minimize watching movies at late hours of the night to let you sleep more.  </p>
